Validating team fortress files

It gets completed to 100% without any problem but the validating file window is not closing and as a result of that, I am not able to start the Team Fortress 2.

It's unfortunate that it's the only option but perhaps you can let it download overnight.

So: The PC can't BSOD / The Steam can't crash nor the lights from your house depletes it.

Hello everyone, Everytime I launch Team fortress 2, steam pops up a window called "Validating game cache" or something like that... Reinstall TF2 (Delete Local Game Content then click install once the uninstall has been done).

It takes 1/4 of hour and the game launches but it verifies the files EVERYTIME I launch the game :( . All of your stuff before you uninstall TF2 will be kept when you play after you reinstalled such as mods, maps and so on.
